Re: A real life chumby!

What can we say, life imitates art.

But I think we may have to sue this species for trademark infringement. :^)

I guess I have a few mindless questions about this for fun

Will it be class action? Or will you give em the option to add or remove a leg?

And if you pull the legs, does it open a secret menu? (Removed in some firmwares)

Is it open source and does it run linux?

Can I plug a USB Drive into the back?

Does it support 801.11 n?

What happends if you stick a 9v battery into it?

I think we might lose the class action, though Henry was born after the Chumby even rolled off the assembly line (they live about 6 months), we would lose on account of us using his whole family as a icon as it were.

Seriously who came up with the Octopus? Susan Kare would be my guess. Were there other contenders?

Re: A real life chumby!

"Until Henry, the most famous six-legged octopus was one that appeared in a 1955 B-movie, 'It Came From Beneath The Sea.'"

Ok so who's the B-Movie SciFi geek? Steve? Bunny? Duane? ???

PS.. Loved that movie..

When someone annoys me, it takes 42 muscles in my face to frown...but it takes only 4 muscles to extend my arm and b**ch-slap you!
