Topic: SlimServer - What customizations have you done

Recently got my Chumby... love it!

I installed Slimserver on my Macbook Pro and it works awesome.

I'm just wondering if you chumby users out there do anything else on the server side for slimserver.

What would be cool is when a song changes do a notification like growl on OS X.

i just finally started playing with SlimServer.. i'll see if i can get a "now playing" widget going (already did one for the Tspigot Radio stream, so i might be able to reuse some code).

oh man, so close to getting a SlimServer Now Playing widget working.. but running into some logic issue with how to do recursion code for digging through the many layers of nesting in the SlimServer's "status.xml" file..

if anyone has some code i peek at for doing recursion, it would be greatly appreciated.. thx
