On the Yahoo finance stock widget does anyone know how to enter the symbol for the UK FTSE 100 index?
(If you look up FTSE 100 on the Yahoo finance web page, the symbol ^FTSE comes up, but you still can't enter that in the Widget. If you try the search function it just says there are too many results and displays nothing.)
Best bet right now its to post this on the widget itself, or try to contact the developer. Seems like a simple fix though eh?
I have posted a question on the Yahoo help forum but have only received one reply that didn't help.
Out of curiosity, where do you see the yahoo stock widget? All the stock widgets i have seen will not allow the ^ symbol that is used normally to designate an index. sort of sucks, i cant see how the dow or nasdaq did but i can see the individual stocks.
Now you can -- check out the new ChumbyFinance Lite widget that displays the Dow & Nasdaq charts. It updates frequently while the markets are open.
