Topic: Now that the Chumby is offically on sale...

Is it being sold with the same firmware as that which is loaded on the current installed user base?
If not when will they be the same.
There was talk of a new firmware version receintly. Yet there has not been anything sent down yet.
Now that the Chumby is offically on sale Shouldn't it have the no bug version of the firmware?

Units at the factory are burned with the latest firmware currently available at the time of manufacture.

Should a firmware update become available between the time the unit is manufactured and the user receives it, the unit will get a firmware update notice just like any other unit already in customer hands.

We would never make the claim that *any* version of software is completely free of bugs.
