Topic: Gyroscopic Chumby??

Hey, you guys never told us the accelerometer is gyroscopic!

Everyone should try this experiment.  Add the Pendulum widget to one of your channels.  About 10 seconds before it switches to the Pendulum, set your Chumby up on its side at a 45 degree angle.  When the Pendulum appears, it will magically swing so that it's pointing straight down.

A side effect I noticed is this.  When you right your Chumby, the next time Pendulum rolls around it could be off-center a bit, as if the accelerometer needs calibration after that trick.

In other words the Chumby allways knows which way is up. Right?

There is also a Face Maker widget that has eyes that look straight ahead, but if you tilt it, it will look in different directions. So you can fool that by tilting it forward, sideways, etc.
