Topic: WiFi Monitor? Live365? Podcasts?

Newbie here, I was wondering if there is there a widget available, or could one be created, to monitor my home wifi network? I would like a quick view of devices connected to my wlan.

Is the chumby compatible with listening to streaming Live365 internet radio stations?

I know that the chumby can read RSS feeds, and play streaming Shoutcast stations, but can the chumby play streaming *.m4a video cast feeds?

Thanks!

Re: WiFi Monitor? Live365? Podcasts?

Live 365 is incorporated into SlimServer, if that's any help.

I'd like a WiFi monitor.
I think the chumby is very cabable.

on Live365, if you know the ip/port of the stream, you could easily add it to your MY STREAMS.

here's a live365 that you could test:       216.235.91.32:20990  Classical Philippines (guitar & condiman music).

As far as I know, a WiFi monitor will be incorporated into future Chumby updates.

Unless I misunderstood and you mean something to see all the other devices that are connected to your WLAN? Wouldn't that data somehow need to be gathered from your local DHCP server, i.e. from your router?
