Topic: Purpose of the Microphone?

I am unaware of any widgets or functionality within my Chumby that utilize the onboard microphone. Are there any plans to do anything with this?

My wish is for a skype phone, and have seen some of the forum posts on this subject, but cannot think of a more compelling use for the microphone.

(PS I love my Chumby and have been very pleased with the involvement of the Chumby team in this forum, the quality of the product and the pace of innovation).

I'd like a snore detector, Klaxons go off when I snore too loud.

I have one of those. But her name isn't Klaxon. (Starts with a 'K' though.)
