Topic: ANSI scroller widget to display webpages?

Is it possible to convert webpages to images and embed these on a webpage eg. google creator; using ANSI Scroller you could load them onto the chumby.
It requires that you can convert them online or through a java script on the GCP;
Could that work out?

A quick Google search ( http://www.google.com/search?q=convert+ … amp;hs=CNf ) yields quite a few applications that convert web pages to various types of images.  The ANSI Scroller widget will load any PNG or JPG image.  If you were to create a proxy that converted a web page to an image using one of the converters, you could load the image into the widget by entering the URL into the Image URL field in the widget's customization screen.  If you search around a bit, you might be able to find a live web page -> image conversion proxy that may suit your needs.
