Hi guys,
Just wondered if it's possible to connect a barcode scanner to a chumby, via USB?

I plugged a Metrologic orbit scanner into the usb port. Powered up no problem. The OS needs a usb keyboard driver to recognize the device though.

I believe the current OS *has* a USB keyboard driver.

If possible, what's an easy way to read the input from the HID device such as a keyboard?  I'd really like it to interact with the flash applet that is running, but if not possible, then at least access the input to be processed on command line.
