Topic: VLC based media player

Has anyone thought of the possibility of a VLC based media player or something similar.  Basically something with wma support and more than just flash video support.  Is this even reasonable for this device?  Thanks.

probably not possible, although anyone's free to try.  Most embedded devices that play video use dedicated hardware (asic's).  Chumby doesn't have any dedicated hardware to do the decoding.
