Topic: False Bootloader sources

Hi.
I try to compile the bootloader source, but the source code doen't compile a valid binaries, within bootloader source file are  a tst.bin file, if i download it to chumby the serial port shows the correct string, but when i compile this test and dowload it to the chumby doesn't  works, i thimk that the sources files are wrong!!

Why we can't get hardware support i'd already make many question without any responses!!!

There are a  hardware guy in chumby team????

Best Regards

Re: False Bootloader sources

If your makefiles are correct, you should get a file called "goldloader.bin" out. You need to have perl installed to have the final amalgamation of all the bootloader bits and pieces come together into a single binary file that represents the bootloader binary image.

tst.bin is just what it implies--it's just a test routine that was put in to test basic interaction of the chumby on the serial port. It doesn't actually do anything. It's actually not relevant to the actual boot sequence of the chumby, it's there more to help people debug stuff.
