Bunnie's quote seems weird, I think he meant a critical mass of Wifi being deployed in the home to be something we could count on. It's true that when we started we were worried about making a Wifi only device, but came to the conclusion that even if it weren't it soon would be, and asking customers to route Ethernet cables to their nightstands was not scalable.
