Topic: SSL fix failing on Classic.

I have ran the SSL v3 fix successfully on my Chumby 8, but am having issues on my Classic.

I ensured I was at the latest firmware version (1.7.3) by re-flashing this morning.

I ran the  "SSL fix for Chumby - Test fix WI - 1.50 - 10 Mar 2018 - by francesco" file.  Here is the log:

Any suggestions?

Re: SSL fix failing on Classic.

chumby Classic firmware 1.7.3 already has SSL support.

More importantly, the Classic does not have a read/write file system.

Re: SSL fix failing on Classic.

OK thanks - good to know.

I have 2 devices (a Classic and an 8).
I have different channels for each.  I mainly have news, RSS feeds, Flick'r, etc. on my C8 at work, and weather, clocks, etc. on my Classic at Home.

There are apps that did not work on my C8 until I applied the SSL v3 fix (threatpost, Flick'r, to name a few).

If I run my C8 channel on my Classic - those apps that previously did not work on my C8 (threatpost, Flick'r, etc.) do not run on my Classic. - that's why i assumed my Classic needed the SSL fix.

Any suggestions?
