Well, it sounds like you now have two accounts - an older one with your apps and an activated Dash, and a new one that just has the subscription.
You have two choices:
1) Remove the dash from the old account and reactivate on the new account, and create new channels with new apps.
2) Let me cancel and refund the subscription on the new account and create a subscription on the old account.
When you're trying to recover a password for an account, you use your username, not your email address - your username can be found on your dash by top button->MENU->Settings->Device Info->Account Username.
