Topic: Recordable memo app utilizing the built in mic!?

Is it possible someone out here could make a recordable memo app for the dash?

Just an app with a big red record button to leave a voice memo for yourself or others, and maybe a flashing memo alert  to let others know there is an unread memo and a button to access it?

Any one like the idea?

It's possible, however, you'd have to require users to have a USB dongle installed to store the audio.  The dash itself does not have enough storage to store any significant amount of audio data.

That would be an interesting use of the dash's microphone - it always amused me that it was included in the dash but never used!
