Topic: Fighting with Sony

I sent a message to Sony Customer Service saying I was disappointed in the recent firmware that bricked my Dash.  There response was, "We apologize for any inconvenience that have caused. We have researched with our resources and we would like to let you know that the current technology has surpassed the technology of your device. We're glad that you enjoyed your dash device, but it's obsolete at this time. Most people use their cell phone for audio and visual content."  I wrote and gave them a detailed response on how it is not obsolete and I ended with asking them to continue support or to at least open up the partitions and the code to make it Open Source so those of us that do not believe it is obsolete can continue to use it.  Time will tell if it does any good.

I received the same reply when I wrote and called.  Told the rep on the phone to stop calling it an inconvenience.  They did send a cool speaker that does not make up the this.
