Topic: What video filetypes will the Chumby Dash play

I was thinking about just tossing some tv series and movies on a small thumb drive and leaving it in there.

What sort of files will work with the Software?

I played an mp4 I ripped a while ago of the Blues Brothers.  Played fine.  Only problem is no rewind or fast forward or slider.  Same with MP3s.

rather than sticking them on a thumb drive I'm going to create a symbolic link to my media share.

That is a cool idea. How would you access the files from the dash gui?
