Topic: Reviving my Chumby One

This unit worked fine when it was packed away a few years ago. We just moved into a new home, and when unpacking I found it...

When powered, it generates the expected splash screen (bubbles), then goes to a solid light blue. No combination of buttons will change that.

Suggestions?

See if you can get it into "special options" mode - power up the device while touching the screen.  The screen should appear different.  If that works, then follow the appropriate instructions in http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?id=8654 for your device to reflash the firmware over USB.

If that doesn't work, please contact me through support and we can take the next step.
