Topic: Playing your own widgets

I've built the HelloWorld.swf widget (from http://wiki.chumby.com/index.php?title= … p/Example) and run it by killing the default control panel. I'm now trying to mix it in with the new default clock, but not having any luck with the Mixing Local Widgets trick (http://wiki.chumby.com/index.php?title= … _a_channel). Is this because I'm on an 8" Infocast? Does anyone know of a way to build a channel of your own widgets?

As far as I know, the 8" devices use a different widget protocol, and thus don't work with that trick.
