Topic: Patience of a saint

Duane, not sure how you do it but was doing a search and came across this old thread.  Scan down through them a bit till you get to ZLNetworks.  Your responses are as kind as they are amusing.  Did I mention this is an old thread?  I've forgotten how long Chumby's been around ...

Re: Patience of a saint

I kinda missed Cameron when he left.  It's fun to read all of his posts, both here and on other forums.

At the time, only a small handful of folks had Chumby Foo prototypes, and Cameron not only claim to have one, but had somehow replaced the processor with a Xeon or something.

There's a really funny thread on another forum where he claimed to have done some tweaks on his PC, and got speeds "20012X faster" than other users on a Comcast residential cable connection in 2006 - downloading 1GB in only 1.2 seconds.

Elsewhere, he claims to have a server with a 6.0 GHz processor, 17GB RAM, a 2GB graphics card (in a server?), again in 2006.

Now that's pretty good.  I have to ask...  What was the most outrageous mod someone did with a Chumby?
