Long story short, I was talking with a colleague of mine, discussing how I was getting rather tired of being unable to get various programs to work on my Chumby (MPlayer, for one), and he suggested that I try XBMC.  So, I go online and check it out, and apparently there is a port of it for ARM processors.  It's meant for the beagleboard, but (in my albeit limited knowledge on the subject) I think it should work just fine on the Chumby.  What I want to know is, has anyone tried it yet?  If you have, did it work just fine the first time through?  What kinds of problems did you encounter?

As I type this, the files are being copied to a flash drive for transfer to my CHB, so I guess I'll find out for myself soon enough.
