Topic: Intercom / Bably Monitor

Widgets on the 3.5" devices fill the whole screen.  The 8" devices give the flexibility of running the 3.5" widgets in a portal while providing other "all the time" functions using the rest of the screen as controls. The 8" Chumby becomes a multi-function device.  A fair number of folks have suggested that they always want access to the clock / radio / alarm / (weather?).  I think this is why some of the Sony Dash screen shots look good to some people and why the InfoCast is a little bit of a disappointment.

I have multiple Infocast devices.  They are "Internet connected" but I'd like them to be "house connected".  I wish I could use the Infocast 8 / Dash as an intercom.  I'd like to have the intercom button on the screen all the time (with my clock and radio selection) and then do push-to-talk using the button on top. In addition, it would be great if I could "lock down" the p-t-t button so that it would essentially become a baby monitor.

Skype would be great too but that topic appears to be covered other places.
