Topic: Problems with Photos served from DLNA server -- crash?

I figured out that if you have a DLNA server on your network, then you can add this as a network device.

I installed uShare on my linux box that has the family photo archive on it. The problem is that I have > 40k photos that the uShare software finds. When the Chumby (actually 8" infocast) tries to load these images, something bad happens and the Chumby restarts -- I would bet that something crashed and this triggered a reboot.

For now, I'm using an app to display the pictures PHPSHow Plus, but it too seems to have problems with large numbers of images. I have to artificially restrict the number to make it work. ARG!!!

Is there anything that can be done about the DLNA related crash?
