Should we try installing the updates? Would it even work?

Or should we just wait and by a second chumby when they come out?

Oh crap. I think I have a nice soft brick.

It went to the update screen, and someone (who's in trouble now!) couldn't think why an update wouldn't be a good idea.
Now, when it boots, its a bunch of colorful vertical lines.

The update on the site for chumby version 1.1 is for production, not alpha prototype, chumbys. If you have an alpha prototype chumby, please don't install the update on our site here: http://www.chumby.com/releases.
