Topic: Lithium Batteries beside NP-120 for Chumby One
I have read the Chumby One has the connector for a NP-120 type battery but I was wondering about the charging circuit. If I was to break out this connection to a Molex connector or something another, could I use a lithium battery pack that has a thermistor wired in the same fashion as in the NP-120? Does the on-board battery charger for the Chumby handle all lithium battery protection and charging or is some still on the NP-120? Would a larger battery put too much power drain on the charging circuit or Chumby? I have one coming for Christmas and would love to have a bit more portability.
