Topic: Dead Pixel Concealment Procedure?

My Chumby has had a dead pixel from day one, it appears as a bright glowing white dot.  Is there a pixel concealment procedure that could address this?  If not what is the warranty repair policy for this?

The dead pixel policy is outlined here at http://www.chumby.com/help/faq/5

Re: Dead Pixel Concealment Procedure?

No concealment procedure then?  Thanks for the info though.

Below is the pixel policy info from your link in case others look for it here:

"what do i do if my chumby has a pixel that's too bright or dark?

Chumby's Pixel Policy:

An LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) consists of millions of individual dots, or pixels. These pixels combine to create the image you see.

Occasionally, a pixel may stay "stuck" in a certain state—too bright, too dark or on one color. A certain number of pixel anomalies are considered acceptable by industry standards—rejecting all but perfect LCD screens would significantly increase the cost of products using them (this is true for all devices using LCDs, not just the Chumby device).

For purposes of Chumby's warranty, the maximum pixel anomalies acceptable on a Chumby LCD screen are no more than two bright pixels, no more than 4 dark pixels, or a combined maximum of 5 bright/dark pixels. If your Chumby exceeds this acceptable level during the warranty period, please contact http://www.chumby.com/pages/help_support "
