Topic: Total lockup when stream player lost network connection

Hi,

Since I was able to duplicate this behaviour several times I would like to bring it to your attention:

I have configured an m3u playlist for a 128kbit MP3 stream of my favourite radio station.
Normally it plays fine.
This morning severaI times I had the problem that my wlan connection got lost while playing.
This made the dash completely lock up and started showing a finely vertically striped display. Had to unpower it to get it back to work.

This is a bug in the Sony media player - unfortunately there's nothing I can do about it from our software since this is in the firmware.

We have discovered several otherwise normal MP3 streams that cause the Sony player to lock up, but will play normally o other chumby devices.  Attempting to play an OGG stream will also lock up the player.
