Today i revived my chumby one it is brand new and on the quick start guide it say i need to activate it , how do i do this ?

Because of the company going out of business, you no longer need to activate as every Chumby is connected to the same account. You won't need to activate until whatever replacemeny service Duane's been cooking up comes into fruition.

also i try activating the pandora acount withe the code my chummby gave me and it did not work and idea why

You can't add any widgets to the default (and only) online channel. This is because chumby has gone out of business.
You can change to running either zurk's or nathanm's offline firmware, both of which include a selection of widgets. Search these forums for more information about going offline.
It is possible to add widgets over and above those offered in the offline 'packages', but this requires a certain amount of programming knowledge.
You should also note that using the widgets other than the Star Trek clock offered in the online channel may involve a breach of copyright. Whether you care about this is your concern.
