Topic: Power for Chumbilical-attached peripheral

Original question:

I want to attach a peripheral to the Chumbilical, but I'm not seeing a power source.

Answer:

Pin 18 is +5V, pins 3, 4 and 12 and ground.

Other pins you might think could be useful for this but aren't include:
Pin 1 (VDD_BATT) is a direct connection to the battery's positive terminal.  Pin 2 (RAW_PWR) is the 5V source from mains (but not useful when not powered from that source).  These, as far as I can tell, are both intended for powering the Chumby from an external source through the Chumbilical.  Pin 9 (POWER) is the power button (to wake up the Chumby) and pin 11 (VDDXTAL) is a reference voltage for that pin (not a supply rail).

Actually, I'd prefer you keep the question and answer -- it could help someone else in the future if they're searching the boards.
