Topic: Wired USB dongle for Chumby One?

Greetings all.....
Got my Xmas gift- Chumby One, everything runs fine- quite impressive actually.... what a handy device!!
Now I'm considering buying another Chumby One, this time for the workplace... but it's a non- wireless zone there- so I'd need to use a USB wired Ethernet dongle for internet connectivity.
Did some searching on the forum here and found some oldish posts regarding the original Chumby working well with the TRENDnet TU-ET100C wired dongle (http://forum.chumby.com/viewtopic.php?pid=21300#p21300). I'm hoping the same driver package is still included in the Chumby One OS, but figured it's not guaranteed. Can anyone confirm that the TRENDnet TU-ET100C wired dongle works with the Chumby One?

Re: Wired USB dongle for Chumby One?

Well figured I try the StarTech USB1100S USB to 10/100Mbps Ethernet adapter (http://www.lacc.com/ssdetail.asp?pf_id=10134198) I sometimes use for my AE Internet radio when I want to use it wired versus wireless. Seems the StarTech dongle also uses the RT73 chipset drivers available in the Chumby One OS, so it worked perfectly! It's an end-of-life product though, so still interested to see if the TRENDnet TU-ET100C wired dongle works with the Chumby One.

It should work -- I enabled as many USB devices as I could find.

Thanks!
I had to place a Newegg order for work today anyway- so I tossed in the TRENDnet TU-ET100C wired dongle. For $10 it's worth the gamble ;-)
I'll report back once it arrives...
