Topic: Pictures from Local Lan rather than Internet Photo Service?

Two days into my new Chumby and apart from destroying my productivity (try widget A, B, organize photos etc) smile Really loving it.

During Work hours it scroll around grabbing pictures from private albums Flikr/Picasia etc and alternates every 30 seconds to a clock. Also using Shoutcast to stream BBC World Service when I take a break, - very very cool. smile

Only thing I was wondering is - it seems a bit redundant to upload pictures from my local PC to an internet website only to stream them back down again. Not to mention bandwidth usage, speed etc.

I believe that with the new Slimserver support I could stream pictures via the control panel but from searching I could not find a Slimserver Widget which I can then use as part of a Channel rotation.

I guess what I was hoping to do was....

1) Connect to local PC Slimserver - grab 6 pictures, display
2) Show Clock for 15 seconds
3) Connect to local PC Slimserver - grab next 6 (or random would be good)
4) Show Clock for 15 seconds

etc, etc

Any easy way to make this happen?

Thanks
