Topic: noaa widget zipcode

i cannot enter a zipcode into the noaa weather widget. is it broken? i'm on a mac, with safari3 as the browser. everything else seems ok..

Hi Moonphase,

You're right, if you add the widget via
http://www.chumby.com/guide/widget/NOAA … r+%28US%29
you won't be prompted for the zipcode.

HOWEVER, you can customize this widget through the channel view:
http://www.chumby.com/widgets/channels
Select the appropriate channel and choose customize. (Tested with Mac Safari 3, works fine here.)

If the customize option isn't working, turn off your pop-up blocker--see http://www.chumby.com/help/faq/10/118

strange. i had done all as you described, several times over the past couple of days [channel view, no pop-up blocker]. the widget never accepted my zipcode change. after your post, i tried again, and it works. i did nothing differently. weird.
