Topic: can't authenticate Flickr

When I add the Flickr app to a new channel, I can not authenticate once i get to the Flickr web site.
When I click on the "Your Photos" link, it takes me to Flickr page and I get this error:

"Oops! You don't have permission to view this page."

I DO have an active Flicker account, and can log into the Flicker web site using a browser with no problems.

I have the Flickr app working in an older channel and it works fine.  Just having this problem if I add a new Flicker app.

Thanks

Re: can't authenticate Flickr

has anyone else been able to duplicate this problem?

Francesco:
I have released Version 3 of the SSL fix for the Chumby One.
This update addresses the performance issues of the previous versions: it drops support of OpenSSL and uses mbedTLS instead.
Improvements are quite satisfying and until now I haven't had any compatibility issues.
Probably this is going to be the last release and only bug fixes or minor tweaks will follow.
If anyone wants to try it out go to https://sourceforge.net/projects/chumby-ssl-fix/

Re: can't authenticate Flickr

If you're applying this fix in 2022 (or later), be sure to update the files in the patch with the latest cacert.pem from https://curl.se/docs/caextract.html -- you can replace the file in src/curl-ca-cert.crt with the one downloaded from that page.
