Topic: Bright border

The Chumby screen on the Chumby 1 is bordered by a bright white, 1-pixel border.  It is extremely bright, and very distracting at night or in a dark room.  Is there a way to turn it off?

Not sure what you're referring to  - please contact customer support.  There should not be a "bright border".

This type of display (LCD) has a single solid backlight - unlike a plasma display, there isn't any way to have some pixels "on" and others "off".
