Topic: Having trouble connecting via SSH (PuTTY)

I have a Katamari chumby and I'm trying to get the swf iteration cycle (via SSH) working.  Following the steps in the wiki, I created a debugchumby file to launch sshd.  Using PuTTY, it seems like I'm able to establish a connection put I can't figure out how to get a command prompt.  I'm pretty sure my debugchumby file is correct as I've been succesful in launching swf's from a flash drive.  I also tried the 11235 sequence in settings/info, the winking chumby icon appeared for a few seconds, but still no luck in getting a command prompt in my PuTTY window.

I've read several threads and it seems people have gotten this to work.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Semi-related, once I get a prompt, the next step is SCP.  From the link on the wiki, I downloaded/unzipped the package but was left with .ipk files.  Given that I'm a total linux newb, could someone please tell me how to extract SCP from this package?

Thanks,

tom
