Topic: Electric Bill?

Hey everyone. Since you leave your chumby plugged in for 24/7 doesn't that mean that whole time its plugged in it is using electricity and jacking up your electric bill? If any of you own a chumby and can tell me whether or not your electric bill spiked up. Greatly appreciated, Chandler

Bunnie has posted elsewhere that the chumby draws down 2.5 watts on average.

Chances are you wouldn't notice it on your bill if you have pretty much anything else in your house, like, say, a refrigerator, or microwave oven with a clock, or a smoke detector, or....

It uses less energy than an energy efficient CFL light bulb running 24/7.

It also has an off switch...should you feel compelled to reduce your footprint.

I think some really smart person could get a solar charger for the chumby, or rig one up, if power were an issue.
