Hello,

A "Developers" section on the forum would be nice to discuss items more closely related to being a chumby developer as opposed to programming.

Good idea - do you think this should be in the "Support" section t make it more clear is more about developer issues than about pure technical/programming stuff?

How would you word the description?

Hi Duane,

I'm not sure exactly how to word it, but the idea is that it's a place for discussing things like:

developer support (non-programming)
marketing (drawing traffic and visibility to widgets)
partnerships (between developers)
rants and raves (developer/support related)
alpha/beta testing
chumby devices
getting to know other developers
and whatever and so on

Basically a little space for the developers to talk shop.  Perhaps it's not needed, but I had some feedback the other day regarding the developers area that I thought would be good for discussion among the other developers, but couldn't really decide where to put it.  I also have a few other topics that seem very developer specific.

Perhaps someone can condense that into a description of some type. smile

I'd be open to moderating it as well.  If it would be helpful.
