Topic: 3.5" does not connect to network on first try

At startup my 3.5 starts the network wizard and will not continue until I have selected the only network that has been defined on the device. Sometimes it will take two or three attempts before the device will finally connect and pull an address from DHCP. Very annoying.

I also have an 8" Infocenter on the same nework, and so far it reconnects to the network without any problems.

I do not believe that this is a signal strength problem. My iPhone, laptop, and 8" Infocenter work fine on the network from anywhere in the house. The 3.5 has these startup problems anywhere in the house, including within 8' clear line of sight to the access point. My WiFi network is 802.11G and WPA2-PSK with a 64 character key and hidden SSID.

I am fine with starting sshd and editing files on the device, but I would just as soon not spend hours trying to figure out what needs to be fixed. Are there some recommended tweaks I can make to get the network start-up working properly on a 3.5?
