Instead of going to all the trouble to make a battery powered Chumby, why not hack the RC9800i which uses the same CPU?

With normal use the battery lasts a week.
802.11g, touch LCD, speaker, etc.
I don't know how much flash/ram but it would be cool to get the Chumby software running on the RC9800i.
The firmware update file is 12MB.

They're fairly useless as a remote, turning them into a portable Chumby would give mine a second life.
