Topic: Audio input

For a project that i've been considering, i require both stereo input and output (and a mixer that can output the input straight to the output, while also capturing it ..)

I've read the specs a couple times now, but it seems the chumby hackerboard only has mono input, is this correct? Will this always be the case?

Looks to me like stereo input is already supported- the iMX.233 has provisions for three audio input channels, Line1, Line2 and Mic.  The Line2 input pins are used for LCD functionality but the Line1 pins are pulled out to P401.35 and 36 (the 2x22 header).

You should be able to tap into that header directly and use that as your input.
