any chance for a Spotify player? so you can stream music from that acct? it is blowing up and getting tons of users fast.

The big problem is that since Spotify is blocked to the US, we can't create and test a music source for it, and of course, we'd have to reach an arrangement with the Spotify folks.

well, they are in us, just not to consumers.  even via apple itunes,  people can get authorized by spotify corporate for their APP on ipad or iphone.   it isn't avail to consumers though in us yet.   just europe.

so if you wanted to develop an app, you ought to just contact spotify.  info is in this link.   they are VERY aggressive in getting their content avail on mobile phones, devices and many platforms.  i dont think this is an issue

And while you're talking to them, please don't forget the international markets. Spotify is available in Australia for a fee. I would pay to have this available through my Chumby (within reason, of course).
