Topic: Protective Travel Case

I traveled with my Chumby Classic recently so I could show it off to some friends and use it as an alarm clock as I normally do.  However, I was nervous packing it in my suitcase (I'm a fairly dense packer -- I squeeze everything tightly into a carry-on bag) because I was afraid the pressure may damage the screen or squash some of the electronics in its squishy body.  I managed to transport it safely, but it got me thinking: a purpose-built plastic "shell"-type case for the Chumby would be the perfect thing to protect it during travel.  Has something like that been considered?

Re: Protective Travel Case

In the short term, you might be able to find something from the lunch box or plastic food storage container section of the supermarket that would help.

Re: Protective Travel Case

For the long term, I would suggest finding a small case from South-Pak (www.south-pak.com)
http://south-pak.com/products/hard-case … ing-cases/ has a lot of great options. smile
