Topic: Suggestion: put current clock time in menubar when setting quick alarm
If I don't know what the time is and I want to set an alarm, there's no way to see the current time.
Or, why not make the current time the default time?

There is a way to see the current time when setting the alarm. Next to the time on the 'Set Time' screen within the Alarm setting sequence is a button marked 'Now'. Press it and the alarm time changes to the current time.
Edit: Sorry, read your post but not your thread title and didn't see that you were referring to quick alarms. They don't have the 'Now' button. Possible solution: use custom alarm instead, it only takes a second or two longer once you're used to it.
I've added the current time to the top bar in the Quick Alarm screen in the next version of the Control Panel.
