I have a new chumby.

I would also like to use the chumby as an alarm clock:
However I'm really hesitant to have a WLAN device 20 cm close to my head overnight.

Wouldn't it be possible to disable WLan in the night mode and to just enable it about 5 minutes prior to any alarm?
