A friend of mine has one of these, they are incredible but I didn't like the squishy exterior. Can I get one that is hard on the outside? It would stand up to wear and tear better. And make it battery powered and you will have me for life! Damon
It's actually not all that hard to hack it into a hard case. Simply buy a wooden box or similar container, cut out some holes with a jigsaw and glue the chumby screen and rear panel into place. That's the beauty of chumby, you can make it into whatever you choose!
NICE! I never thought of that one. You guys could make lots of money by making this stuff yourselves though (peripherals, not built in stuff): hard case, battery, camera, and anything to get it and keep it mobile! This is SOOOOOO cool, people in Congress could use it to get information like a Blackberry but what makes Chumby so cool is it's screen size compared to a Blackberry and how sexy it looks. SWEET!
