Topic: Firmware updates

Hi,

I currently have a Chumby One, and since the last firmware release last month I have upgraded the microsd card, and put a lot of stuff onto /mnt/storage.  When the next firmware release comes out will it over write the /mnt/storage partition?  Also what will it do to the files in /psp?

System updates try very hard to leave your files alone.  /mnt/storage and /psp will remain untouched.  The "/" partition will be reformatted, however.

We stick lots of stuff in those places, too smile

Thanks for the update.  And thanks for making such a great product.  Every night I look at my chumby and think this is so cool.  I've been wanting a chumby now for a couple of years and with the lower price I was able to convince my wife to let me get one.  Two people have bought a chumby one after they saw mine at work.  I think more and more people will be buying these, they are so handy and a great price.
