Topic: Flash Lite errors?

Are Flash Lite error codes part of the chumby implementation? Meaning, will the chumby throw error dialogs with "out of memory" type errors when they occur?

... I wrote a "chumbicide" test app that would purposely throw an out of memory error, but a blank screen is displayed. I am guessing this normal behavior (for the time being)?

Re: Flash Lite errors?

It won't throw errors up on the screen - however, if you launch the player from a command line on the chumby (typically through ssh) then you'll find the player to be quite chatty about what's going on.

The Flash player paints directly onto the framebuffer - there's no window manager.

Re: Flash Lite errors?

ok. Thanks for the command line tip.
