Grandma used to love parrots and she would always name them Pepito (Pae-pee-toe)...spanish...  So I found fitting to name my chumby Pepito

Mine is named Elpenor.  All of my networked devices and volumes are named after characters from Homer's "The Odyssey."  Unlike some other naming schemes like planets, I'm in no danger of running out of names, plus I don't have to struggle with which device to call "Uranus."  :-)

Castor (as in "Castor and Pollux," from the Greek word Καστω� , which translates as "to shine, to excel")

Ok, I'm a Word Nerd.  I went to www.behindthename.com and searched for names that meant "shine" and Castor leapt out at me (probably because I'm reading "I, Claudius" atm, too...).  Anyhoo, the idea was that the Chumby was going to be distracting and something I would be drawn to as in "Oh, look!  A Shiny!"
