Topic: ChumbOS Launcher

I have just uploaded to sourceforge the ChumbOS Launcher application.

If you would like to give it a go, you can find it here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/chumboslauncher/

It cannot change the volume on the chumby since I don't know and easy way to do it programatically in C.

I saw the source code for amixer which is a bit hairy...

If you know of a way to change the volume on the Chumby in fast manner (not by using chumby_set_volume or amixer in system(...) call or such) I would be grateful and will include it in this launcher.

Say can I lauch the infocast quake if I wanted too?

Yes I am pretty sure it will work! That is the whole purpose of the ChumbOS!

Do you have the quake working on the Infocast? Cuz' I couldn't make it work on the Chumby One...

Oh by the way, something just stroke me now, that not everybody disabled the loading of the control panel on their Chumby, like me. Actually the numbers might be very low. So the running of the ChumbOS from the USB stick will not work properly since it will conflict with control panel.
