Topic: Can you use Flex 2 for Flash Lite development?

So I got this coder friend of mine I'm trying to lure into possible chumby development, and he asks me.. "Can you use flex 2 to dev flash lite apps for the chumby..." and of course I have no frickin clue.

No - Flex 2 generates Flash 9-only code and requires Actionscript 3 support.

The Flash Lite 3 player used in the chumby, which is the latest version from Adobe, is based on desktop Flash 8 and uses Actionscript 2 or earlier.
